University College of Agriculture and Environmental Studies
The University College of Agriculture and Environmental Studies (UCAES) is a tertiary
education initiative by the Akyem Abuakwa Traditional Council under the authority of the Okyenhene,
Osagyefuo Amoatia Ofori Panin.The proposed university college was registered in October 2006.
The institution is located at Bunso, within the serene
vicinity of the Cocoa College in the East Akyem Municipality of the Eastern Region.
The National Accreditation Board (NAB) of Ghana has granted the University College
both the Institutional and Programme accreditation with effect from January 2011.
The University College is also affiliated to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
The institution offers the following programs:
(i)B.Sc. Sustainable Forestry
(ii)B.Sc. Sustainable Agriculture
(iii)B.Sc. Environmental Science and Management
