This college is a tertiary institution that was established in 1961 with the aim of helping promote
African unity through the teaching of non-Ghanaian languages.
The institution offers professional courses in secretaryship and translation.
The following programs are available at the college and are offered at intermediate and proficiency levels:
(a)Spanish
(b)German
(c)French
(d)Arabic
(e)English
(f)Portuguese
(g)Russian.
Intensive vacation classes are also offered from mid July to the end of August.
The Kumasi campus is located at Asokwa opposite the Kumasi Polytechnic.
